Acorn’s Proven Process starts with assembling the Agile Team that will do the most good for a client. The team of experts provided by Acorn is led by an Agile Team Lead, and the client appoints a Product Owner to represent the interests of any other stakeholders impacted by the engagement.
The team works together to collect all of the ideas, tasks, issues, and needs together that could potentially be tackled as part of the sprint. Led by the Agile Team Lead, the work is further defined, refined, categorized, and prioritized. By the end of the meeting that is the Kick-Off for the sprint cycle, everyone knows what work is going to be tackled first as part of the sprint, and can see it visualized on the Kanban board.
The Kanban board allows both Agile Team members and client stakeholders to visualize the flow of the work and make better forecasts about what will be completed by when.
Immediately after the kick-off call, the Agile team starts the first iterative cycle, or “Sprint,” and completes as much of the work as fast as possible before the sprint Wrap-Up meeting.
